Yesterday, Steve Jobs gave a very fascinating 90-minute keynote address at the WWDC, which detailed a barrage of new technologies Apple has been working on.
The most revolutionary of those technologies is without a doubt the application called "Time Machine". It is one of a very small number of applications that implements a 3-D interface, but is actually more user-friendly than any similar 2-D offerings available. It is essentially a backup-up utility with the enhancement of being able to easily locate lost files that were backed up in the past within this 3-D environment. To view the entire keynote address, click the link below. FYI: The demo of Time Machine occurs at around the 37'th minute. http://events.apple.com.edgesuite.net/aug_2006/event/index.html Enjoy! |
